The suction trumpet we designed for the TMAX is a device that serves to improve the air intake during the gas control opening phases.
Due to its particular shape it allows to reduce the turbulence of the air during the suction phase，to improve the suction of air from inside the air box，facilitating the suction and reducing the response time of the motor，especially when there is a violent opening of the gas control.
Its shape and length has been studied by our design department to connect the engine to different rotation speeds，increasing the suction resistance and improving filling at low speeds.
This component is mounted inside the air box and is connected to the intake manifold directly to the throttle body.
The trumpets have been developed for different uses，a series of BLUE color for the standard throttle body of the TMAX 500，a series of BLACK for the standard throttle body of the TMAX 530 and finally a series of GOLD color designed to be mounted on the our throttle bodies increased from 36-38-40.
The bench test of the trumpets highlighted a gain of 2 to 3 hp compared to the standard ducts，of course，like any modification made on the engine，it then requires the tuning of the injection in order to make the most of the modification.
