Made from robust 5／32 inch (4mm) aluminum， this skid plate will stand up to anything the road may throw at your bike. 1／8 inch (3.1mm) steel brackets are powder coated in black for good looks and durability. Coupled with stainless steel hardware， the skid plate stays firmly attached to your bike. The plate is formed to effectively wrap the headers， engine and frame for a uniform integration with the bike that complements the lines of the Thruxton and provides a ”heritage race” look. The integrated shape also preserves ground and cornering clearance while providing maximum protection. The use of large radius bends increase strength and the long tail protects the oil filter while remaining compatible with the center stand. Utilizing a two-piece formed and welded construction balances form and strength and provides a natural／low profile integration with the bike. Race inspired cutouts increase airflow. Recessed mounting location points and PEM press-in female threads protect the mounting hardware and gives the Thruxton a smooth airflow across the bottom of the bike.
